About the Event

Squash Blossom Farm is thrilled to welcome Sod House Theater back to the farm, performing Table: hilarious interactive theater served up with a delicious meal featuring dishes by local chef Julia Gallagher using many ingredients from our farm gardens and mead from our farmstead winery!

The Table has always been the most important place to connect family and friends. The food we eat there tells us who we are and who we were.  Join Sod House Theater in their latest experiential event created by Sarah Agnew, along with Kimberly Richardson, Elise Langer, Maren Ward, Delvina Logeais, Stephanie Kahle and Emily Bauer with music composed by Eric Jensen and performed by Simone Perrin.

Arrive a bit early and wander the farm or sample the farm's wine options in the mead tasting room as you nibble delicious appetizers from the farm.   Then, join us at the TABLE for an evening of feasting, fellowship, song and shenanigans while you are taken good care of by the most entertaining catering crew in the country!  

Your delectable Italian dinner will be prepared by our fabulous guest chef and served alfresco (or, in the greenhouse in case of inclement weather.)

This extraordinary event has very limited attendance, so make your reservations early!

Guest Chefs Julia Gallagher & Elise Gallagher

Appetizer (pre-play) Bruschetta: featuring Squash Blossom Farm wood-fired sourdough, with SBF garden tomatoes & basil

Salad: Fresh greens, garden vegetables, berries, edible flowers and candied pecans, with SBF honey-mustard vinaigrette

Main: Rosemary chicken crespelle with  asiago cream sauce

 Vegetarian main: Nonna's baked spaghetti served with a rosa sauce

Vegetable: Italian-style Ratatouille

Dessert: Tiramisu

Wine: Squash Blossom Farm Mead (a glass comes with dinner, additional mead available for purchase)

About our guest chefs:

Julia  Gallagher is a local resident who is sure she was an Italian Nonna  (grandma) in a prior life. She loves everything Italian, and her creative outlet is to learn and cook Italian food. She's been hosting  Italian Feasts for over 20 years in the Rochester area in groups ranging  from 10 to 40 people.   For years, Elise Gallagher has been Julia's trusted sous chef for their  Italian Feasts. She's an excellent cook in her own right who loves to cook all variety of Asian foods including exploration of all the amazing types of curry.
